Distilled water helps me to get down many pills daily

There are many choices of water, however what kind of water meets my special needs? My choice is to use distilled bottled water. These are my reasons.

I have to swallow numerous capsules each day. A lot means over 40 capsules and pills each day. Obviously, that is a large number. I must take all these pills a few at a time without throwing them up.

For example, I developed osteoporosis and have had to swallow calcium pills each day

Because of some of the medications I have been required to use, side-effects have occurred. I have to get down more pills that treat these side-effects. One situation is that I have osteoporosis and have had to swallow natural calcium supplements daily. This resulted from the very high doses of Prednisone, because I have had Crohns for two decades. As a result, I am required to get down two additional calcium osteoporosis pills to counter this bone calcium problem. This is one reason why I am required to swallow so many more pills than most people. As I swallow these pills, I often find it very hard because of the chemicals that have been added to the water we get in our house.

I’m not sure why, but this area gets water with lots of chlorine. I can taste it easily. Quality reports come with the water bill that tell me the district’s water has chemicals added for many reasons. I am often very concerned.

I expect that there are chemicals in our water, because the water comes from natural places. But, some of the other stuff is shocking. The water district serves so many people, and they must ensure that our tap water is potable. Pay attention to the water quality reports that get delivered in the water bill envelope, and you’ll see what I mean. While ignorance might seem to be bliss, I would rather know what is in the water.

With distilled water, I can get down all my drugs and supplements

One time a friend arrived for a holiday and we talked about chemicals added to the water. He is on the road quite a bit, and he said that he usually brings purified, distilled water. I asked him why distilled? He commented that this is the one water knows he won’t get sick on. In addition, anyone can get distilled, purified water in any food store.

That was interesting. In the past, I had just used distilled water for ironing. After this conversation, my Crohns has gotten somewhat worse. Because of these problems, I now have to take an increased number of pills. Besides my medicine for Crohns, I also must get down supplements and vitamins, including multivitamins and iron along with a calcium pyruvate 1000 mg supplement following my doctor’s orders.

Due to my Crohn’s, I am get sick from smells that make it so that I can’t keep my medicine down. As a result, things work better to use only distilled water, because I must always swallow all my drugs, supplements and vitamins each day.

We get specially processed water through supply. However, tap water has become more risky to drink because of the presence of lead and other toxic substances in it. There have been incidences, where authorities found drugs and even sewage waste in some metropolitan water supplies. As a result, municipal agencies are warning consumers to take steps to purify drinking water or to buy bottled water for drinking. A safe and ready supply of water has been made convenient to the people by the business world through supply of bottled water.

Now the bottled water industry has grown rapidly over the past five to ten years and everyone has at some time drunk bottled water. Bottled spring water is popular among standard varieties of bottled water. It comes in one gallon bottles and in smaller sizes. In recent times, companies have begun offering custom bottled water for special events, like fund raising, or special promotions.

Spring water, which comes from natural springs and it may be bottled and sold as mineral water. Today, there are many brands of bottled water which are labeled spring water, however this is deceptive advertising as the water in these bottles is water that has been purified and bottled for commercial purposes.

Distilled water is water which has most of the minerals and pollutants removed. Boiling water and allowing it to cool so that the steam condenses back into the water is done by a process known as Distillation. Distillation is slow process and is expensive and leaves a yellow scale behind.

Though drinking distilled water is good, there may be scarcity of certain types of health benefits according to the Journal of General Internal Medicine and other health organizations. Since mineral-free water does not contain fluoride, a mineral which protects against tooth decay. Also, it was found that drinking “hard” water- that containing minerals – may prevent cardiovascular problems, a benefit not found in drinking distilled water.

However deionized or mineral-free water is an alternative to distilled water and also cost low as compared to distilled water. Minerals such as sodium, iron, copper and calcium are eliminated through ion exchange that makes the water similar to distilled water. However, all minerals or bacteria can not be removed from water, but mineral free water is one of the purest types of water.

In recent times, bottled water has come in for a lot of negative publicity from health and environmental watchdog groups. These groups claim that bottled water harms our health because it is just purified bottled municipal water and plastic leaks harmful chemicals into the water. There are also ccriticisms that manufacturer of water bottle use fuel and environmental waste. Pro-bottled water groups are criticized for safety of the water because of regulatory standards. However the debates rise on, bottled water companies continue to load up their trucks.
